Being a blogger for only a short period of time, I was delighted to be nominated for the Liebster award! What a lovely surprise!

Cherrylsblog is a travel and lifestyle blog and is a lovely little place where she features travel stories, travel chats and great travel tips. I’ve enjoyed reading posts such as Misty mountains of Snowdonia and her Solo trip to India

She is a self confessed bookworm and shares many thought-provoking posts on them. In addition to this, she shares various lifestyle things such as shopping, food, health and cosmetics etc. I suggest you go check her blog out.

A bit about me and my blog

After loosing my dad who just suddenly slipped away in his sleep, I realised life really was too short not to live it to it’s full potential. It was here when I decided to fulfil my childhood dreams of travel. Although, it wasn’t for another two years until I actually acted on it.

In 2018 I become a solo traveller not by choice, but rather by accident. It came after realising how hard it was to get people to travel with me. Whilst I wanted to travel, everyone around me was now settling into families, marriages, morgages and the ones who were not didn’t seem to keen….. I was so fearful to travel alone but decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone. This was the year I faced my biggest fears and booked that first solo trip. It was the best thing I ever did, but now I don’t want anyone to come with me 😂

After travelling alone a couple of times I realised I was not the most logical thinking traveler. Just take a look at my Nightmare in Salou part 1 and part 2 . It was this trip in-particular that encouraged me to start documenting things and that was when Nattytravels Blog was born.

Here are my answers to Cherrylynn’s 11 questions

1 If you were forced to leave the country you live in, but you could choose any other country to be relocated to for the rest of your life, which country would you choose?

Oh, wow! I would choose Spain. I absolutely love Spain! That much I’ve barred myself for going too often.

2 Which animal do you admire the most?

Cats. I think their funny, weird and demanding little creatures. I actually have one, she’s very aloof and ignores me quite a lot, until she wants me for something. She’s such a user!

3 If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be and why?

That would be flask cups because I have a ridiculous weird obsession with purchasing them, even though I have a full cupboard of them.

4 If you had the entire world’s attention for 5 minutes, what would you say?

I’ll probably be too panicky to even speak, but I’d say something along the lines of: Educate yourself as much as possible, knowledge gives you the power to make the best decisions.

5 Do you think the blogging world is changing in any way?

I’ve only been blogging for a year so I don’t know any different

6 Is there anything you’d like to do that scares you at the moment?

There are quite a few but the main one is to learn to swim. I took swimming lessons as a child but it didn’t work out because I’m scared of water….. I just don’t float 🤷🏾

7 What’s your favourite dessert?

Bubble gum Ice cream. Yum!

8 Which social media platform do you use the most?

Instagram

9 Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I’d say night owl, but only to a certain point because I fall asleep around 11pm ha.. I hate mornings! I don’t do them! Unless I’m going on holiday, then I’m happy as Larry (who ever he is)

10. Share one song that always puts you in a good mood

11 Share one random fact about yourself

I scared toilets! Not only for the germs, but also for the stories of snakes and rats etc coming up peoples loos 😣
